COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE PROGRAM
Our CSA is the heart of our farm! We are committed to providing you with fresh, local produce grown without harmful chemicals, products made from the harvest, and a relationship with the farm and farmers that bring you your food. We look forward to partnering with you!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a mutually beneficial partnership between community members and farmers. By purchasing, in advance, a share in the season’s harvest, community members receive a weekly allotment of produce throughout the season, and farmers are able to use these advanced funds to purchase what is needed for the growing season ahead.
2025 CSA Information
Our CSA members receive the best and freshest we have available. This partnership means members share in the abundance of a harvest, as well as the inherent risks associated with a growing season.
The 2025 seasonal options and sizes for shareholders are in the chart below. A 5% discount will be given for shares that include all three seasons, and is reflected in the chart.. This discount will not apply to add-ons.
Additional Member Benefits:
-
Members have the opportunity to purchase cheese, coffee, and egg add-ons for the season.
-
Members receive a weekly newsletter with the news from the farm, recipes, and information on processing and storing our vegetables.
-
Members are welcome to pick their own herbs at any time during the season.
-
Members are welcome to utilize our community composting program.
-
We provide reusable containers to our CSA members.
We strongly believe that everyone should have access to fresh, local food free of harmful chemicals regardless of income! The Care Share program is one of the ways that we are able to offer our produce to local families who might not otherwise have access. FFBH donates the cost of half a share and we accept donations toward the other half and any shares beyond that.
Pick Up Options include:
-
On Farm - Tuesdays, spring and summer - 4pm-7pm, fall - 4pm-6pm
-
Cobleigh Library - Tuesdays, summer only - 4:30-6:30pm
-
Barton Public Library - Wednesdays, summer only - 4pm-6pm
-
Island Pond Health and Dental Center - Wednesdays, summer only, 3pm-5pm
-
Westmore Community Church - Mondays, summer only, 3pm-6pm
We are not able to accommodate for vacations! However, members can donate their share to a friend or local food shelf for the weeks they will be away. FFBH will arrange for delivery to the food shelf.
Member fees are not refundable! By purchasing shares in advance of the growing season, members assist in the up-front costs to the farmer. We appreciate this commitment immensely! There are several payment options listed on the registration form for members to choose from.
